United Methodists are a mixed
bunch-politically and theologically. McCabe is no exception, however,
we hold strong ties to one another. We share a commitment to Scriptural
holiness lived out through Christian works, as modeled by John Wesley.
As “iron sharpens iron” (Proverbs 27:17) we work together to challenge
and balance one another, growing deeper in faith and impacting our
community and world with deliberate acts of kindness in the name of
Jesus Christ. As such, you are as likely to find Bible studies and
mission groups, prayer meetings and work projects as you walk through
the homes and halls of McCabe. We invite you to experience McCabe for
yourself, “including, encouraging and empowering all people.”
Our building is fully accessible to all. If mobility is an issue for
your family, please use the west entrance for your convenience.
McCabe owns two large, off street parking lots, one south and one west
of the church building. Overflow parking may be found around the
capitol lawn.
When you come on Sunday greeters will meet you at the door. Don't worry
though. We will not give you an odd colored name tag or single you out
in any way. You will be warmly welcomed just as everyone else is. Our
greeters and ushers can answer any questions you may have. Coffee and
fellowship precede both Sunday worship services. Cappuccino
and donut holes are also on the menu.
